Minami's real full name is Izumi Arai.

Among her other acheivements in Ranma 1/2, Minami has played Atros in Iczer 3, Keno Inuzaka in Hakkenden, and also can be heard on Japanese dubs of Twin Peaks.

Minami was also part of the singing group of female Ranma 1/2 Voice Actors known as DoCo, and is currently pursuing a j-pop career as one-half of the singing group Two-Mix.
